Weather now fairly mild altho’ plenty of mud about. Things very quiet. At 8 o’clock at night orders came through for B. and C. Sections to move off at 10 a.m. next day, rather too sudden for our liking as we had nearly 500 patients, and all our gear was in use. However it had to be done so we set to and started packing up, getting to bed between 12 and 1 a.m. having fixed up all bar the loading.
