Today, the Baptist community driver spends her working and free hours putting smiles on the faces of her disabled and elderly passengers in Wagga.
Ms Dosser was shocked when she received a nominated for an Australia Day Award this year but she said it was nice to be appreciated.
Not only does Ms Dosser transport more than 35 residents around town, she also organises social events and weekly outings to make them feel special and loved.
She said it was the most rewarding thing she’d done.
“They have wonderful stories and it enriches your life,” Ms Dosser said. “Some are terribly socially isolated ... so they love the outings.”
