Rhiannon Podmore and Jordan Little, both 16, enjoyed a successful Trans-Tasman campaign, winning three from three games in Auckland from Friday to Sunday.
On their debut against Australia’s fiercest sporting rival the squad won a hard-fought game one 7-5 on Friday.
On Saturday, they won game two 11-8.
Game three was another high-scoring thriller ending in Australia’s favour 11-10.
The series win comes after Podmore, Little and the squad prepared at a training camp in December.
