Heywood will celebrate his 21st birthday on Saturday but will be hard at work with four rides at Royal Randwick.
The birthday boy has the opportunity to grab the perfect birthday present with an all-important city win.
Heywood has been in top form of late and has some strong chances on the nine-race card.
Heywood rides the favourite, Burning Energy, for Bjorn Baker in the Benchmark 78 Handicap (2000m).
He also hops aboard Suspense for his bosses, Peter and Paul Snowden, which is the second favourite in the last race, the Benchmark 84 Handicap (1200m).
Heywood’s other two rides are Gold Torque ($18.00) and Got Unders ($13.00).
Heywood’s father Chris will be trackside to celebrate his son’s 21st. He will stay in Sydney after racing Mitchell Road at Canterbury on Friday night.
