The stand-in captain led the way for the Bulls batsmen, top scoring with 62 before they were bowled out for 165 on Saturday.
Jamieson didn’t believe it was a bad total considering the conditions.
“It is probably 50-50 at this stage,” Jamieson said.
“The wicket was a bit slower than we expected.
“I think there wasn’t as many runs in the deck as we originally thought and they bowled really well.
“It is pretty even at this stage.”
Jamieson is looking for a big effort for his bowlers if the Bulls are going to return to the winners list.
Lake Albert have made one change for the clash with George Kendall coming in for his first match.
It comes a week his brother Lachy made his debut.
After surviving one over before stumps, St Michaels will resume at 0-4.
