Wagga RSL will need to chase down at least 245 to win on Saturday, but captain-coach Todd Henderson is confident they have the batting power to claim back-to-back victories.

Coming off their first win in over a season before the Christmas break, the Bulldogs finished day one of the Robertson Oval clash with South Wagga at 8-244.
Henderson wasn’t disappointed with the bowling effort and believes it is a total they can chase.
“We would have liked to have taken a few more wickets early on, but to keep them to just over two runs an over for most of the day at Robbo were we pretty happy,” Henderson said.
“We thought 250 was about par and considering 350 was scored there before Christmas I think we are in a pretty good position.”
South Wagga still has the option of batting for another 17 overs, and Henderson expects his bowling attack will be called on with Joel Robinson still unbeaten on 73
“It could go either way, but I think they will bat for a bit longer," he said.
“I think they will potentially take a loss for themselves out of it and with the new rules look at the win or the draw.
“Obviously in the last 18 months we haven’t had the best batting record so I think they’ll back themselves to bowl us out.”
Wagga RSL will have Josh Staines back from Riverina representative duties, coming in for Gage Baxter, while South Wagga will see Blake Harper returning from the same competition.
He takes Grant Forrest’s place.
