A driver in a white utility led officers on a chase through residential streets around 3pm, narrowly missing parked cars and pedestrians.
The vehicle then veered onto a nature strip and stopped, with police issuing a man with a number of infringements.
“It was extremely frightening to have the cars fly past our house and our kids,” one witness told The Daily Advertiser.
Police speak to the driver after the chase concludes.
