Traditionally a flashmob is a group of dancers but the Riverina Summer School for Strings broke all the rules in its spectacular surprise performance.
Travelling Queensland resident Joanne Jackson said her family was headed to the library when the flashmob caught her eye.
“Our children have never seen a live performance before so we were all blown away by the talent,” Ms Jackson said.
“Our area doesn’t have any music programs so it is nice.”
Riverina Summer School president Jeff Donovan said the acoustics of the building created a unique, clean sound for the students.
“They love getting out and playing in a random event for the town,” Mr Donovan said.
