Less than a week after appointing Darren Jackson as senior coach, the Two Blues have snared Snaidero as his assistant.
There will be plenty of new faces at Barellan next year with Jackson and Snaidero’s appointment coming on the back of the signing of four Canberra footballers.
Barellan president Jeff Mickan is happy to have Snaidero on board.
“We’re quite pleased. He’s had a couple of years out of footy but he’s quite keen and has plenty of enthusiasm,” Mickan said.
“We did look into the possibility of him being our senior coach but both he and us agreed that it didn’t quite suit with his work commitments through the pre-season so this was an easy fit for both of us.
“He’s a good footballer...and he’s keen to take on a leadership role.”
Snaidero, 26, last played for Griffith in 2014.
