A 33-year-old Cootamundra woman has been arrested over allegedly fraudulently obtaining more than $300,000 from a local business.

The woman, who is currently employed in Wagga, is accused of defrauding Cootamundra business Agland Industries while she worked there.
In May this year, detectives from Cootamundra Local Area Command commenced Strike Force Aside to investigate the missing funds.
Following months of inquiries, police arrested the woman at about 9am on Friday.
She was charged with 30 counts of obtain financial advantage by deception as well as destroy financial documents.
Police allege the woman transferred more than $300,000 from the Agland Industries business account into her own bank account between August 2014 and April 2016.
More charges are possible.
The woman has been granted bail and will appear in Cootamundra Local Court on February 6.
