Carli Kreyts was supposed to have fronted Albury Local Court this week on eight largely drug-related charges.

But her no show instead resulted in magistrate Tony Murray issuing a warrant for her arrest.

The 22-year-old was given bail back in August despite police concerns about just where she would stay.

At the time, her lawyer cited her few days spent on remand in Junee Correctional Centre as “a significant wake up”.

Kreyts got bail on the condition that she live with her mother, Narelle Crumpton, in Howlong.

She was to have been sentenced on a host of charges related to the discovery of ecstasy tablets and methamphetamine in her car on August 18.

She had pleaded guilty to two counts of supplying an indictable quantity of a prohibited drug, two counts of possess a prohibited drug, possession of equipment for administering prohibited drugs, unlicensed driving and deal with property suspected proceeds of crime.

The last charge related to police finding $400, comprising eight $50 notes, in her car.

Kreyts tried to argue that this cash came from prostitution, not drug dealing, telling police that she did not “give receipts to people I f--- ”.

She was also to have been sentenced on an unrelated charge of possess a prohibited drug.

A car driven by Kreyts was first seen by police travelling in Lavington.

Inside the bag was the cash, “ice” weighing 12.41 grams and 17 ecstasy tablets.
