The Eagles have been quiet through the early stages of the off-season but opened their signings account with the return of two experienced footballers.
Kiley returns after two years at Farrer League club Coleambally, while Aumann will return after two seasons in Sydney.
Kiley, a three-time premiership player in the Riverina League, said after a few years of travelling it was time to return to the Eagles.
“It was time to come home,” Kiley said.
“After travelling and that, it’s just going to be easier to be playing at home. That and there’s been a few changes around the club that I like.
“I’ve only got a couple of years left in me so hopefully I can make it two good years. I’ll have to train hard, keep fit and hopefully we go alright.”
Kiley could not speak highly enough of Coleambally after two seasons with the Blues.
“They’re awesome, the best people I’ve come across,” Kiley said.
“They look after everyone and are just fantastic to be around. I wish I went out there a few years before.”
Aumann, a tall forward or ruckman, played 48 games for Narrandera over three years and booted 48 goals.
He spent the past two years with Penrith in AFL Sydney’s division two and finished with 81 goals last season.
New Narrandera coach Jarred Lane has not seen Kiley or Aumann play but is happy to welcome a couple of senior players on board.
“They’re both good players from everything I’ve heard and they will bring plenty of experience, which is pretty important for us,” Lane said.
“Wes, being a local bloke, is good to have back.
“We’re still talking to players and hopefully we can get a few more.”
Narrandera have already began pre-season training and Lane is happy with how things are coming together.
“It’s been okay, numbers have been alright, what you expect for before Christmas,” he said.
While Kiley and Aumann return, Narrandera have lost ex-coach Tim Sullivan, ruckman Lachie Hunter and speedster Brent Rose.
