Greater Western Sydney (GWS) will come to Wagga for their North Eastern Australian Football League (NEAFL) clash against Canberra Demons.
The Demons have again chosen to bring a home game to Wagga and will play the Giants’ reserves at Robertson Oval on August 5.
Canberra Demons general manager Shaun Young was pleased to be able to bring the game to Wagga again.
“The GWS Giants and Canberra Demons have played the game for the last couple of years and are both keen to continue that,” Young said.
“The Canberra Demons want to come and play in the region to help build a strong relationship with the region, and also the talented players in the region so we can get more to come and join our program.”
The game clashes with a Wagga Tigers home game but the Riverina League premiers are receptive to the idea of playing alongside the NEAFL clash.
