Grand Allowance, now being trained by Rick Worthington, won at Warwick Farm on Wednesday.
The injury-plagued nine-year-old bolted in by four lengths for apprentice jockey Andrew Adkins.
Owner Greg Carroll was on hand to witness the win as Grand Allowance ($5.50) took out the $40,000 TAB Benchmark 64 Handicap (2200m), the seventh victory of his career.
