Owners of the Ace Racing Indoor Go-Kart Centre in Wagga no longer feel the need for speed.

Director Andrew Clarke and his family are waving the red flag on the business, which has been open for less than six months.

The centre opened on Bye Street in June with a short lease with a three-year option.

“We decided that it wasn’t what we wanted to do for the next three years,” Mr Clarke said.

Business was good with a steady flow of customers, including bucks and birthday party groups.

Mr Clarke’s children enjoyed spending afternoons and weekends in the centre but Mr Clarke said he is looking forward to getting his weekends back.

Mr Clarke said he has no intentions of opening another go-kart centre.
