The bitch hasn’t finished outside the top four in all of her 13 starts since returning to the kennel of owner-trainer Ken Seckold.
After two starts at Wagga, Seckold sent the daughter of Cosmic Chief to Victoria but thought her racing style was proving too much of a hurdle to overcome.
“She has one fault – she is 25 kilos and thinks she is 35 kilos,” Seckold said.
“Add to that the rail over on the inside is her’s so if something is in between she tries to knock it over but she has done alright. She has had 30 starts for 22 placings.”
Seckold was impressed with the all the way win which booked her place in the $1000 to the winner final at Canberra next Sunday.
She clocked 23.41 seconds in her one length win over Tranquil Will.
She was slightest the fastest of the four heat winners, with Thombro clocking 23.43.
