After a horror spell, Tolland cyclist Jake Brooker, 17, wants to win Wagga’s premier event, the Golden Wheel. Brooker had two punctures and a crash at recent national events. With a handicap and partnership, his luck could change on Saturday. Meantime, his sister, Rebel, 13, has been on fire, with a second in the National Junior Track Series. Rebel will compete in a junior event on Saturday. More on page 50
