The Sportsmen’s Hotel has been nominated as a finalist for being the best casual dining venue in the state, while the Kooringal Hotel is in the running to be declared country hotel of the year.
Revellers sent a record-breaking 600 nominations to the AHA to support their favourite venues in what has been a successful year for licenced venues.
“Regional hotels are the heart and soul of their communities and it is great to see so many nominated in this year’s finalists list,” AHA NSW CEO John Whelan said
Sportsmen’s Hotel manager Tom Stratton added he was “stoked” to receive the honour.
“It’s a huge privilege to get this recognition,” he said.
