Acting Inspector Phil Malligan from Wagga police, who is a White Ribbon Day ambassador, said it was encouraging to see school students get behind the campaign.
“Last year the school showed a bit of initiative by hosting a White Ribbon Day luncheon, so I asked if they wanted to get involved again,” Acting Inspector Malligan said.
“The kids are still in the process of making more and they’re creating some amazing work.”
Each class at the school is making a different ribbon and the finished pieces will be displayed at the White Ribbon Gala Ball at Wagga RSL on November 25.
