The new activity will involve fun coaching of the basics and will be aimed at kids in kindergarten or year one.
After skills sessions, kids play games involving players from different clubs.
With the emphasis on participation and fun, no player will be left without a team.
Players are asked to be at French Fields at 5.45pm, the night wraps-up at around 7.15pm.
Look for the flag from your club and assemble there.
Meanwhile, the competitive grades will start on Saturday.
Those born no earlier than 2007 can play competitive tee ball, at 8.45am, kids born no earlier than 2005, can play mod ball, at 10am and kids born no earlier than 2002 can play softball at 11.15am.
Previous competition rules will be relaxed somewhat, on an experimental basis, to ensure all teams have sufficient players in their teams. Players will be permitted to play up an age group, but not an age group below theirs.
The rules of teeball and softball implemented in State Championships will be adopted for use in the Wagga competitions.
Some clubs are still in need of players, particularly for the Friday nights, all kids interested in giving it a go are invited to try the game, and arrive prior to the start of their respective age-group.
A draw for the three competitive age groups will be finalised and distributed to all clubs as soon as possible, following teething problems with some entries.
