Almost half of Wagga residents have a hunger for Portuguese chicken, according to a recent Daily Advertiser survey.

Respondents were asked what national food chain should move into The Mill after developer James Maher revealed how Wagga’s newest dining precinct would look.

Oporto and Nandos combined received just shy of 49 per cent of the vote. Gourmet burger joint Grill’d was next with 20 per cent, followed by Outback Jacks and Krispy Kreme on about 14 per cent each.
