The award acknowledges outstanding contributions to racing in the district, with popular steward Darryl McLean the inaugural winner last year.
“There are scores of hard-working racing participants who do their job with little recognition, so this award is a great way to say thanks,” SDRA secretary Scott Sanbrook said.
“It does not matter whether the person is associated with a stable or a club, all nominations will be most welcome.”
Nominations can be lodged with scott@mtcwagga.com.au. They close on Thursday, November 3.
