Exams commenced on Thursday, with English the first cab off the rank.
Wagga High School student Isobel Cowell said exam season has brought a mixture of stress and relief.
“The first exam is always the worst, but English is a pretty good one to start with,” she said.
“It's something we’ve done so consistently throughout our years at school.”
“It’s definitely feeling of relief now, it’s good to get that first one out of the way.”
Exams are set to wrap up on Friday November 4, with a nervous wait to follow.
“That'll be a very interesting time,” Isobel said.
“But hopefully the results will show that all our efforts have paid off.”
