Police and State Emergency Service volunteers are continuing to search for a man missing in floodwaters near Ungarie.

The 49-year-old man, believed to be from Burcher, was reported missing to police about 8:20am on Saturday, October 1 and a search was commenced in the Burcher, Nerang and Lake Cowal area.
A police spokesman said a submerged boat was discovered and searched by police divers, but nothing was located.
“It’s confirmed the boat was owned by the missing man,” the spokesman said.
The operation was suspended at dusk on Monday and resumed at dawn on Tuesday.
The search involves officers from Lachlan Local Area Command assisted by NSW Police Rescue, Rural Fire Service and State Emergency Service volunteers and NSW Ambulance Paramedics.

Police are continuing to search for a man who went missing near Ungarie on Saturday.
The man, believed to be from Burcher, was last seen boating on Lake Cowal.
A Lachlan Region State Emergency Service spokesman said a boat crew from Condobolin was also involved in the search, as were helicopters that had been called in to assist.
A police spokesman said police divers had been called in as part of the search.
The search continued on Monday.
