The girls are currently preparing to host their last fundraiser before the crowning on November 5.
“I’m not nervous at all,” entrant Sarah Navin said.
“It’s been a great opportunity all year and it’s been a big learning curve.”
The final event on their busy fundraising calendar is less than a month away.
Olympic gold medallist Alicia Quirk will be a guest speaker at the high tea.
Miss Navin said Quirk embodies a lot of characteristics held in high regard by Miss Wagga entrants, including determination, sacrifice and achieving dreams.
The high tea will be held on October 8 from 2.30pm to 5pm at the International Hotel with a raffle and silent auction.
Money raised from all Miss Wagga fundraising events will be split between The Leisure Company, Mary Potter Palliative Care Unit, Country Hope, Specialist Medical Resources Foundation and Ronald McDonald House.
