World-class archery event canned after downpour

More than 500 world-class competitors have been at a loose end at a rain-drenched Wokolena Range on Thursday. World Field Archery Championships’ day four of five was called off, as the hilly, unstable ground at the course was deemed too dangerous after 17mm of rain overnight.
