“I haven't been able to go anywhere, everything's called off,” she said.
“It’s been too wet.”
In third position, 2011 and 2013 champion Edwards sits $5,000 shy of the Australian Professional Rodeo Association competition leader.
“It’d be wonderful (to win),” she said.
“I would have to have a pretty decent finals, but you never know.”
In barrel racing, unlike rough stock events, competitors choose their horse, and Edwards will ride Moon Roc.
“He’s my older, seasoned campaigner,” she said.
“He might be going there without a practice run. It was going to Cooma (rodeo), that’s going to be off. We live on river flats, so this weekend’s out, we’ll be moving things. There’s another one in a fortnight at Tarcutta, that might be out. It’s not ideal, but I’m still confident he’ll do his best.”
