A random drug testing operation near Deniliquin on Monday and Tuesday found eight drivers with “ice” in their system, five with marijuana and others testing positive to both.
About one in eight drivers tested returned a positive reading.
It comes as about one in 10 drivers tested by the targeted regime statewide return positive results.
