The under-age grade was incorporated into the league this season as a five-team competition and Turvey Park were the standouts going through unbeaten.
But they were given a fright early with Tigers having all the early running and taking a 7-4 lead into quarter-time.
However, the Bulldogs fought their way back, getting on level terms at half-time before going ahead in the second half.
Goal attack Sidonie Carroll was the key with a best-on-court effort for the Bulldogs who enjoyed a 15-8 second half to win by seven goals.
“There might have been a few grand final day nerves which weren’t helping but once they eased into it they played the way they have all year,” coach Sarah O’Donoghue said.
“It means a lot to win after the club’s struggles and to be the first team on the 17s plaque.”
