Office manager Nathan Szymanski said it was a wonderful event for the staff to take stock of their hard work and reflect on the success they have driven for the firm and wider community.
“We measure our success by client satisfaction,” Mr Szymanski said.
“We want to ensure we’re meeting our client’s expectations, regardless of the size of the project, by monitoring three big things – budget, time and quality.
“Part of that process is adopting a new strategy – ‘Committed and Connected’ – which focuses on working with clients, not just for them.
“We also have great personal satisfaction when we see that our work will have a long lasting community benefit and impact the region by allowing for more economic growth or improving the living lifestyle of the community.”
GHD’s commitment to excellence has been reflected over the years through numerous testimonials from clients including comments of professionalism, technical expertise and personal approach to projects and clients.
It has also been seen with the business presented with numerous awards including the 2008 Golden Crow Award and the 2012 Crow Award Best in Environmental Sustainability, along with awards in diversity such as the Australian Workplace Gender Equality Agency Employer of Choice for two years running (2014-2015).
Mr Szymanski spoke during the night about the buoyant future of the Riverina region, saying GHD were looking forward to working with its current and future clients to deliver solutions to their projects.
Member for Riverina Michael McCormack attended the celebrations paying tribute to GHD’s success.
