The Wagga musician has released a song about proposing to his wife, from whom he has since separated.
And he had two cute little counterparts to help him film the video for his new song, Do Ya?
Joel’s nephew, Harrison Delaney, and his friend Sienna Ross feature in the video.
Mr Harrison had a vision in his head while planning the video to have kids playing with a lolly ring pop.
“We just had the cameras there and we got some good shots,” Mr Harrison said.
“We were lucky that the kids were great.”
Mr Harrison said the joy, and tears, displayed by the children in the video mimic the feelings before and after someone proposes.
“Kids are so happy and jovial and when people are in those moments and they are in love, you get transported to those moments when you’re a kid,” he said.
“It’s still a happy memory.”
Mr Harrison has moved back to Wagga and is currently working on a video for Home for his new EP PoFoco, meaning pop, folk and country.
“Once completed, I will be heading back into the studio locally with Dale Allison with plans to collaborate with other artists in Australia and the world for my next release,” he said.
“Additionally, I am constantly writing with local and international artists via Skype and also performing around the Riverina and NSW live with duos and trios.”
Do Ya? is available on iTunes and Spotify and via his website joelharrison.com.au.
