The new-look store gives residents access to a metropolitan supermarket experience with broadened deli, bakery and “scoop and weigh” sections.
A new and improved meat counter also features two qualified butchers offering a ‘slice on request’ service.
Store manager Aaron Fahey said the team was excited to unveil its new-look to shoppers.
“We’re committed to our community and want to thank our customers for their patience during the refurbishment,” he said. “We are also delighted to welcome the new team members to our store team who will allow us to devote more time to customer service.”
Tolland resident Shane Windle said it was “definitely much better”.
“It’s good to have the butcher and baker sections going like this,” he said.
Lake Albert resident Heidi Loxton, who was trying out the scoop and weigh bar, agreed.
“It looks really good,” she said.
To celebrate the completion of its refurbishment, Glenfield Park resident Karen Lonnie, who previously worked at Coles for more than 10 years, cut the ribbon to officially re-open the store.
