Taste Riverina, an initiative of Riverina Regional Tourism, has come a long way since its humble beginnings five years ago.
From 30 events to 70, the festival offers cultural and farm tours, access to celebrity chefs, degustation dinners, beer festival and cooking classes.
The festival was officially launched in Wagga on Tuesday by member for Wagga Daryl Maguire, who expects a steady flow of visitors through the city during October.
Events and exhibitions during the event use produce, including rice, citrus, lamb, olive oil, grapes and pistachios, from the Riverina.
