The Wagga mother made news in recent months for her tongue-in-cheek post to Arnotts and the conversation it created.

An advertisement for Reese’s peanut butter Krispy Kreme doughnuts has whet her appetite enough to contact the company via Facebook.

“I think it’s really unfair that we are such a big inland city and we are dismissed by bigger companies,” she said.

“I think we will be obsessed until we get them.”

It is the latest request in a long line from Wagga residents who are speculating about what will open next.

Mrs Petts said Krispy Kreme drives are always cause for delight and she believes the business would be well-received in Wagga.

“I’m campaigning for all the bad food,” she said.

“I think next I’ll run for council if I can get doughnuts.”
