Henwood Park finished first, on 48 points with a goal difference of 143, after lashing Lake Albert 19-0 on Sunday. Junee finished second, on 39 points, with a goal difference of 80, after an emphatic 15-0 win over Wagga United on Sunday.
Third-placed Tolland missed out on a coveted top-two spot by eight goals, on 39 points and a goal difference of 72. Despite a strong week of soccer for Tolland, a team that beat Lake Albert 10-0 on Tuesday and South Wagga 5-1 on Sunday, Junee skipped into second place on goal difference.
South Wagga finished in fourth place on 15 points, with a goal difference of -15.
Wagga United coach Chris Driscoll hopes 2017 will be more successful for his injury-riddled squad.
“The ladies competition’s really between three teams,” he said.
“It would be good to have a couple of other teams to compete with them.”
