Millinery will make its debut at the show this year with a range of intricate bridal, cocktail, and everyday hats on display.
Professional hat maker Karen Hyde finally realised her lifelong dream of becoming a milliner almost a decade ago, but until now, never had a public platform to display her talent.
“It’s amazing to have it in the show because people don’t realise there are highly talented milliners in Wagga,” Ms Hyde said.
“It’s an acquired skill and takes many years to master.”
“A hat can take anywhere from a day, to three days, to weeks to make, depending on the level of intricacy.”
The Wagga Show begins this Friday.
