The 73-year-old was knocked by the bus travelling along Alpine Way on August 5 after parking his car near the entry of National Park at Bullocks Flat.
He was airlifted to Canberra Hospital with head injuries and a fractured leg, after police officers who were doing random roadside breath testing close by tried to help him.
