More blokes will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2016 than women diagnosed with breast cancer, according to the federal government’s Australian Institute of Health and Welfare.

Wagga will play host to the Biggest Ever Blokes’ Lunch on Friday, September 2, at the RSL Club to raise more awareness about prostate cancer.
Beaconsfield mine disaster survivor Todd Russell and musical comedy duo Big Brother Little Brother will be special guests, along with Prostate Cancer Foundation Australia chief Professor Anthony Lowe.
Tickets are $110 each and will go on sale on Wednesday and can be bought from the Wagga Commercial Club. If you are booking a table, appoint a team captain to handle the organising.
