Deep tyre marks remain on Rawlings 2 and 3; grounds that were already unfit for play and training due to an unseasonably wet winter.
The senseless destruction follows an incident in mid July where a driver broke through steel gates and damaged Rawlings 3, and an incident earlier in the season, where a driver ploughed through log barriers.
Wagga council will install steel cable fencing once the rain eases and concrete has time to dry.
“In the short term we’re looking at temporary bollards...as it’s too wet to undertake works," spokesman David Walker said.
