Wagga elite mountain bike rider Daniel Beresford has confirmed his thumb’s broken after injuring it in a crash at Wagga RAMBO nine days ago. His plans to race the four-hour enduro at Mount Annan on Saturday fell through as the race was moved to Newcastle. While he would have liked the practice in the lead-up to the Croc Trophy in October he said it was probably for the best, as his thumb was hurting during a training ride on the weekend.
