The Goannas made light work of the Eagles and the tough conditions to run out convincing winners, 20.18 (138) to 5.6 (36) at Narrandera Sportsground.
Rugby league convert Tristan Dickson enjoyed his best game for the Goannas and booted six goals.
Harry Collins was a clear best-on-ground with a dominant performance from the midfield, while Stace Creasy, Isaac Damme and Tom Keogh all played good games.
Jarred Lane was clearly Narrandera’s best at centre-half-back.
MCUE co-coach Travis Cohalan could not fault his team’s performance.
“The best part was just getting the job done. Going over there on a wet ground and windy day,” Cohalan said.
“We had a fairly professional approach and got the job done. To win by 100 points in conditions like that was pretty pleasing.”
