Iysha Bridget Finneran was charged with wounding with intent to murder after an incident involving a knife in a Coolamon home on January 11.
In Wagga Local Court on Wednesday, a representative of the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions withdrew the charge.
Finneran, 35, then pleaded guilty to two other existing charges: use a weapon with intent to commit an indictable offence and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
Finneran, now living in another part of the state, was committed for sentence during the August sittings of Wagga District Court.
She agreed to an apprehended violence order that bars Finneran from contacting her victim for five years except through legal representatives.
