Wagga Real Estate (WRE) has already raised almost $1000 for James’ family, who have suffered since the 16-year-old was stabbed to death this month.
The initiative will culminate in Tears for James, a dinner at the Commercial Club on July 15 which will feature raffles, door prizes and a two course meal.
WRE agent Larissa Chamberlain said it was the least they could do for a devastated family.
“We are family friends with the Cleghorns and we have known them for years – it’s really just us doing our part to help,” she said.
Donations can be made on WRE’s Facebook page.
