The young Tumut resident has already figured out where he wants to be in life – on stage.
Rory performed at Wagga’s River and Wren Markets at the weekend.
It was a taste of the talent that earned him a spot as the youngest at the Tamworth Country Music Academy.
“We are super proud and happy for him to pursue his dreams,” Rory’s mum, Sam, said.
Rory has performed with Kasey Chambers’s dad, Bill Chambers, and will open for Adam Harvey in Tamworth at the completion of the week-long workshop.
Rory started playing the guitar when he was six years old and played his first public gig at seven.
His next goal is to record an EP with some of his original songs.
