Key defender Ben Angel was unavailable, and centre midfield player Cameron Mavor injured his ankle in a collision when the squad played Tolland last week.
Though they’re ranked fifth the Warriors were no easy beats according to Sharks coach Michael Babic.
“They’re a much better team than their position on the table,” Babic said.
“For our defence not to concede against South Wagga is a pretty good effort, they’re such a dangerous team.”
Babic and reserves player Hayden Callander laced up the boots to fill their teammates’ positions.
