A man and woman, both from Griffith, have been arrested and charged by police after allegedly stabbing two Ashmont residents on Thursday.

It is believed a domestic dispute on Mumford Street led to a 28-year-old man being stabbed in the chest and a 44-year old woman being slashed with a knife.
Narrandera police caught a 28-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman fleeing Wagga and arrested both over the attacks.
The 28-year-old man was charged with wound with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and was refused bail.
He will appear in Wagga Local Court on Friday.
The 26-year-old woman was charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm and was granted conditional bail to appear in court on Tuesday.
Two victims, believed to be occupants of the home, were rushed to hospital and treated for stabbing wounds.
The male was admitted to a ward in a satisfactory condition and the woman was treated in the emergency department before she was discharged.
Detectives believed the four people were well known to each other.
Crime scene detectives will continue to comb the Mumford Street home for clues.
