The creation of Apprentice Sports Turf Management/Greenkeeper offers an opportunity for those passionate about turf management and green keeping.
The four-year apprenticeships will be located in eight different regions of NSW, including the Wagga and Albury racecourses in the Southern District Racing Association.
“We are aiming to develop future racecourse curators and managers to sustain our skill base in this important area,” Racing NSW’s Chief Executive, Peter V’landys AM said.
These positions are now on offer for individuals keen to work in turf management and greenkeeping.
