Firefighters from Turvey Park, Rural Fire Service responded at 6.18pm and were joined by the Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT) team.
An unknown chemical has caused an evacuation of 29 staff from the factory, with one person overcome by the “fumes” of the chemical.
Wagga’s hazardous materials team have not identified the chemical as yet. The man is being treated by paramedics on scene.
