The Bulls were off to a slow start, but they dug deep and secured a 5-5 draw with the Giants.
“It was very good to have a draw against that side,” Bulls coach Simon Jamieson said.
“I know all of them are quite gifted. They should be destructive on their day.”
The Bulls are comprised of baseball die-hards Grant Ingram, Mitchell Reid and Brad Yates and a number of newcomers.
“Mitch had quite a strong presence behind the plate; he made some very tight plays," Jamieson said.
“Scott Couch, our pitcher, has been fairly consistent up on the mound.”
Giants player Kai Hilderbrand was named as MVP.
Meantime on Sunday the Redsox defeated the Wagga Jackels 16-1. Jackels player Adam Durney was named as MVP.
