A SUDDEN illness that struck Supreme Court judge Stephen Rothman over the weekend has forced him to postpone sentencing of three people for killings at Griffith, West Wyalong and Young.

Justice Rothman was too sick to travel from Sydney to Griffith for the sentencings on Monday.
He had earlier heard sentencing submissions and was set to announce what sentences he had decided.
Families of the victims gathered the the Griffith courthouse on Monday morning to see justice done only to be told the cases had been unexpectedly delayed.
Owen Junior Fuller, 20, was listed for sentence for the August, 2013, murder of Corey Power at Young.
He was also to be sentenced for a string of other violent crimes, including armed robbery and unprovoked bashings.
Marianne Parker, 58, was due to be sentenced for the manslaughter of her 55-year-old husband, Ken, in their West Wyalong home in December, 2013. Mr Parker was stabbed to death.
And Luke Birch was scheduled to be sentenced for the murder of Carol Penrith in Griffith in November, 2014.
The Supreme Court has tentatively adjourned all matters until June 17.
